When you are just starting out in the world of scrap books there always seems to be a million things you need and more than a million products to choose from. Some products are designed to get you where you want to go, design wise, over and over again. Other products are designed for one time use. Be smart about what you buy.

A good example of this would be purchasing a "Bazzill In Stich'z" for Paper Stitching rather than spending almost double for a package of already made thread border you can only use once. If you can purchase an item or tool that allows you multiple use, do so, it will save your pocket book later.

This doesn't mean to say that you won't have the need for pre made items, but look at it this way, if you buy items you can reuse when you can you'll be able to afford the packaged items later.
