Halloween invokes such a fun mood and excitement.  Images immediately come to mind, such as ghosts, pumpkins, black cats and witches, to name a few.  I’m so inspired by the holiday that I can’t wait to create Halloween layouts, cards and projects with a spooky feel to them.

We scrapbookers and crafters all purchase holiday-themed products hoping to use it up on the holiday of choice.  I don’t know about you but I always end up with a few stickers left on a sticker sheet or extra sheets of paper from a themed package.  Creating Halloween embellishments is a great way to use up your odds and ends.

I used Doodlebug Hocus Pocus Stickers and a zipper instead of a ribbon on the tag for an edgier feel.

I used Glimmer Mist  on a canvas frame and darkened the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink.

I used Fiskars Mini Scallop Edge Scissors on the trim of this tag.

I used the Cricut Expression to create the tag/frame used as the base on this embellishment; it’s on the Classic Font Cartridge.  The stickers are from Doodlebug.

I used the Cricut Expression to create the swirl and the Playtime Cricut Lite Cartridge.  The spider sticker is Doodlebug and the flowers are Prima.

Some scraps of an older piece of Halloween scrapbook patterned paper were used for this tag set.  I used lots of ribbon to accent the top of the tags.
