    Scoring Board Scores High!

I purchased the Martha Stewart Scoring Board and couldn't be happier with it. There are three items - a scoring tool which resembles a bone folder but with a sharper edge that can be used as a cutter with a little extra force. Be careful not to press too hard when scoring paper or you will cut it!

There is an envelope guide which I have not used yet but it looks cool. And also the board itself. The board is clearly numbered in 1/4 inch increments and scoring is a breeze. I even scored some laminated paper with good results. The board can also be used to edge up a ruler for marking straight lines and measuring on paper etc. A pleasant surprise for me.

    I say "Buy this board!!!"

    SCORING!!!!

I never thought that I would need this until I wanted to make a tri fold card and tried to do it on my personal cutter using the scoring blade that it came with and thumbs down!

Then I started looking into getting a scoring board and I saw this but thought maybe it was too much. I looked around and was about to purchase another cheaper version and my computer crashed. The next day I googled scoring boards and came to a ladies blog who compared scoring boards and rated this one the one to get. So I got it and I love all the extras packed into it!

    Martha Stewart Scoring Board

This is an AWESOME scoring board. I had purchased a different one that is difficult to use-I guess I can't figure out the instructions to use it! So I purchased this one and it is much easier to use--no confusing directions to mess with your head!

I'm thinking of getting another one, so I won't have to take it from one room to the next--or for a spare in case something happens to the first!

    Good product - poorly shipped!

The product is great... it's Martha Stewart = would expect no less. PROBLEM... is it was shipped - loosely packed and lucky to have not been broken! NO reflection on the product.... just saying --- REVIEWS should not be ONLY about the product! I am recent 'newbbie' to Scrapbook.com - previous orders have been secured and protected much better. I will hope 'someone' just had an "off" day and luckily only the box was damaged and not the product. DO NOT BE STINGY with those little 'air bubble' packing aids....... THEY DO MAKE THE DIFFERENCE. Will be watching to see if this pattern continues..... or packaging ensures good product arrives safely. TY

    Martha Stewart Scoring Board

I have used this board a lot. This is my 2nd board and I love it. I have recommended this to several of my friends and they are all using this board now.

The only thing I was disappointed with, was the length of time it took to receive my purchases. I live only an hour from Mesa and it took almost a week to have my purchases delivered. I went to the warehouse to see if I could just pick them up, but there was no way to gain entrance. I knocked on the door as I saw a lady going up and down the aisles with a cart, but no one took any notice. I think your delivery and/or pick up system could be much improved.

    Awesome!

I've wanted to make cards for a while but struggled with getting envelopes for the cards. This tool solved that issue! The instructions are simple and the printed dimensions of envelopes and cards are very helpful. I also like that there is storage for the envelope guide and scoring tool.

    Score board

I love this tool! Gives crisp clear lines every time. I have found it is best to do the scoring standing up so your bone scorer doesn't jump. A must have in your crafting tool box

  • I LOVE My Martha Stewart Scoring Board

I LOVE my MS Score Board (just got mine last Sunday - yea!) I've been playing with it and can't believe how easy it is to score cardstock for cards, envelopes and boxes. It gives you instructions on how big to cut your cs for whatever it is you're doing and where to make your score lines right on the tool. They give you directions for 8 different sized regular cards, 8 different gate-fold cards, 8 envelopes to go with the cards - and there's directions for if you have a card with dimensionals or a card that's flat so your card will fit perfectly inside the envelope. PLUS there's directions for 8 different sizes of boxes. If you cut off 1/2" or 1" of the box lid - you can use your border punches for a really pretty box! Think party favors, treats for kids, gifts for birthdays, Christmas, etc. etc. The envelope template stores right on the back of the score board. With the score grooves being 1/8" apart across the whole board, I am sure you could probably do a whole lot more than what the directions on the tool give you. I'm waiting for someone to come up with tutorials on their blog/YouTube showing what else can be made. All that for only $20. That's why I didn't hesitate buying it last Sunday at the LSS when I saw they had just gotten them in.

ETA: Ok it's now been a year since I bought my MS Score Board. I still love it and use it all the time, but I would like to add that the scoring tool that comes with it wears down very quickly. Mine wore down to a point after making some hot cocoa pockets this past winter. So I've been using the bone folder that comes with the Cricut tool kit. It has a metal tip that won't wear down. Other than that, that's the only negative thing I can say about this awesome scoreboard. I've been using it a lot for making interactive pages for my mini albums too.

  • Martha's Scoreboard ROCKS

I first saw this great tool at a MS Focus Group and through why, oh why, would I Want to add a third score board to my collection. That thought lasted 5 minutes!!!!!! So Two boards found good homes and i am down to one that does everything by heat water for my tea.

I love how the measurements are form the left where you can line up the paper, not the middle.

Not to lose another bone folder was my favorite wish for tools and scoring. The little storage bin is cool and hads measurements inside for cards and envelopes.

You can score down to 1/16. While some people say why, us cardmakers and paper folders know the answer. BECAUSE WE CAN.

I am in awe that the scoreboard can handle a 12 x 12 without a problem. I usually work smaller but this allow me all the room I need to score and have fun.

I have also been able to cut, as the scoring lines are deep enough and I use a small blade.

THis is one tool that i have under my desk, next to the leg, it is lightweight enough to one hand it for lifting and replacing and having a good time

The bonus envelops template is heavy dity and slides into the base of the scoring tool, signt unseen. WHat more can we ask for, a hidden treasure.

    Great multitool!

I did not have a paper trimmer, but this is the next best thing. With a slowly growing stash, I used this board to rely on exact measurements for paper sizes. It comes with a bone folder (big plus) and is also intended to help make envelopes - awesome! It is very sturdy and practical - a must have for new art enthusiasts!
