Webster's Pages is a scrapbook manufacturer known for beautiful papers and embellishments. The Spring Market Collection is a new collection with a spring theme depicting scenes which include a country market, flowers, and fruits. The collection kit contains 12 beautiful double-sided papers (six designs), a die-cut paper, a vellum paper, and two sticker sheets. Each of these can also be purchased individually as well. There are also matching embellishments including chipboard buttons, ribbons, and flowers.
All Webster's products are beautiful and use high-quality, thick paper. This collection is no exception. Although all the products in this collection are beautiful, there are two that I especially recommend: the Storytellers alphabet cardstock stickers which have a wonderful font in four colors and two sizes, and the Designer Ribbon and Trim pack which contains one yard each of six amazingly beautiful ribbons. These ribbons will definitely enhance any projects they are used on.
The papers and embellishments in this collection are high-quality and match perfectly. I have found that products from different Webster's Pages collections combine well together, and this collection is no exception. The papers cut easily and can be used with your favorite trimmer or die-cut machine. The smooth surface makes them easy to stamp on as well. Use the papers as is, or layer them for intricate pages.
Tips & Techniques:
Although these papers seem designed for scrapping a visit to a country market, they can be used for a wide variety of other purposes. The possibilities are endless, but here are a few suggestions:
- Use the reverse sides for vacation photos.
- Combine with papers from other Webster's Pages collections.
- Use your leftovers to make cards. These beautiful papers will make fabulous cards for a female recipient.
- Don't be fooled by the flowery design; this collection can be used for boy pages as well.
Project Ideas & Examples:
Here are a few projects I made using this beautiful collection. For this vacation layout, I used the reverse side of the Good Living Paper for the background and the reverse of the Fresh Harvest Paper for the banner. Combined with these photos, these papers have taken on a tropical feel.
I made this card using the leftovers from the Fresh Harvest Paper. I thought the paper was so beautiful that the card hardly needed anything at all, just the stamped sentiment.
In this layout, I combined alphabet stickers and ribbon from the Spring Market Collection with a paper from the Ladies and Gents Collection. As you can see, the Webster's products from these different collections work very well together.
