I'm back from a stay at the hospital. It was unexpected. I woke up Wednesday morning with nausea and shaking and all I wanted to do was lay around and sleep so I did. But didn't know that it was another bout of cellulitis. So I had called my Mom and and later on she returned my call cuz I had left her a message, then away we went to the Er to get it checked out. Litlle did we know that when we got...

Sometimes you just need a break from work. I do. I took off because school was over on the 22nd and the teachers were off after the 23rd. Summer school doesn't start until the 4th of June and I thought it was a perfect time to take off, relax and recharge myself. I am a 12 month employee. All secretaries in our district are 12 month employees, so you gotta take the time when you can. It's im...

My daughter is 4 (she would want me to tell you that she is actually almost 5!). And she loves to watch me scrapbook and look at all the pictures. Lately, though, she has been wanting to do the pages for me. It is so hard to keep her out of my stuff and yet still make perfect pages (who am I kidding, none of my pages are perfect). So this time I decided to try something different - more for my o...

Hi friends!
We've got a couple sneak peeks for you today of some new stamps coming very soon to Scrapbook.com.
Our new Signed, Sealed and Delivered collection of stamps is on the way!
This fun collection consists of 12 stamp sets. Each has a circle stamp in it that is designed to look like a seal. The "seals" work perfectly with a 1 3/4" circle punch. Don't have a 1 3/4" punch? That's OK. Use a la...

I hane been quiet lately because I had an operation on my right arm and naturally I am right handed. I use the time to plan my next project. I can't decide betrwwn fixing my wedding album or do our last trip out west. We went a month visiting sever states and points of interest. I would like to finish before September so I can bring it to our group of scrappers. We meet one Saturday from Sep...

I have been scrapbooking almost everyday for a week now. I am so far behind and trying to get caught up. I hadn't really scrapped since having my twins (kids #3 & #4). But they just turned a year old and I realized that if I don't start getting caught upnow then I will never get back to it. So I finished my oldest son's baby book (0-2 years). I say my oldest son, but he is not old. He is onl...

Hello there,
I've decided to take on the huge task of "trying" to organize the "recipes" for my layouts and cards. Wow! That's going to take me awhile to accomplish! But, I think this will work out good, once I'm all caught up.
First I'm making 4x6 copies of all my layouts and cards. Then I'm attaching the recipe on the back.
They're being organized by Layouts, Cards, Mini Albums. I suborgani...

Honestly, each person really has to decide for themselves between the machines
Are you a frequent user of dies?
A professional crafter?
Do you take on big projects, like invitations or finished goods?
Do you need to assemble class kits?
Do you have a muscle condition that limits your ability to crank?
Do you love the decor appeal of the suitcase styling?
Do you love all th...

It has been awhile since I have written in my blog. Not that I dont have alot to say, but because I have too much to say. I have went from getting a difficult second diagnosis to being in the hospital to learning some distressing news at work, to now sitting at my mamas bedside after having open heart surgery, again. I was thinking about how much all of these things and more add to the stress I am...

Are there any simple layouts I can try to scraplift? It seems like there are so many steps and layers, and I honestly like to use stickers because they are easier (shhh don't tell!)
Any suggestions?
