So they were calling for it, although just a few flurries... maybe an inch or so... but we awoke this morning to a thick blanket of the cold, white... well... yuckiness. Just 2 days ago it was 75 degrees... we were outside in short sleeves enjoying the blissful sunshine. Some friends and I have decided to GO GREEN!! We are building a 2 page LO without buying 1 embellishment. This is not an easy task. We are using items that we already have at home from other products. Twisty ties from trash bags and tabs from bread loaves. Washers and piture hangers, etc. This should be fun and inexpensive. We aren't using our cricuts either. That uses electricity. So we shall see...

Time to start making list and pulling it all together. We are expecting our first little one in August and said little one is going to take over my scrap space (this is one time I don't mind!) Okay, so I did re-categorize a couple years of left over prints. 2006, 2007. I am working on 2008 lo's now, so will categorized the leftovers as I go. One of my biggest delimmas is whether to scrap every little tidbit. Therefore I save everything. This means I have LOTS of tubs of "stuff". My children are in college and married. That's many, many years of memories. My "honey" has given me the best gift of all to allow me to "work" on this dilemmas. So we went, we saw, we shopped! I went over budget alittle but it was worth it. With all the scrapbook stores closing I had to take advantage of the products available. I dropped $100 right away at the Basic Grey & Tim Holtz booth. I am ready to start scrapping!!
