Good morning

So here we are on Tuesday already.  Where did the weekend go?  It feels like just yesterday was Friday. 

I had a good Mother's Day.  It's nice to be recognized for being a stepmother.  I honestly think that stepparents often get the shaft on days like that.  They have like three cards at Hallmark out of the millions, and it feels like we get left out in all of the marketing and stuff.  But  . . . I got a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and a necklace I had wanted for a while.  And, I was totally surprised when my stepdaughter actually called me to say Happy Mother's Day.  I was shocked, since her mother and I don't have the greatest relationship, and I expected that she would not allow Madison to call me.  That was the best part of the whole day.

I have to spend some time today getting ready for CKC this weekend.  I can't wait to go!  I'm signed up for the Friday Night Crop, and I'm having trouble deciding what to bring.   I have so much stuff, and I know that whatever I don't bring I'm going to want when I get there.  Sigh.  Maybe I'll just bring one of my Scrapbook Obsessions kits and challenge myself to work only from that.  I am looking forward to all of the classes I'm signed up for too.

I got some more pages done this weekend too.  I was getting really frustrated with my Cricut.  I have the Design studio, and everytime I went to cut from the computer, I would have to update the firmaware.  I would have to wait 5-10 minutes for it to run through that, and then do it again the next time I wanted to cut. Arrgh.  I got some nice pages done, but I just didn't feel that creative mojo working.  Dontcha hate that?

I'm on a quest now for some of the Noteworthy papers from Making Memories.  I can't find it anywhere!  Every online store is sold out, and none of the stores I've checked even carry it.  Hopefully they will have it this weekend.

Okay, that's all I have to say right now.  I'm off to the gym, and to clean the house.  Yay!  Sorry I'm not too interesting today . . .
