Road Trip!!!

Such a long time since I sat down and actually wrote something!! We are about to take a road trip to Santa Fe New Mexico! I'm excited! Our last trip was several thousand miles away, so this will be a nice little change. And the weather will most definitely be nicer! We will be leaving 100+ degrees to enjoy mid-70's!!! That should be a relief!

YAY! I have a NEW CAMERA!! My dear sweetie bought me a Canon SX10 IS. It's not one of those big jobs that I can't handle, just a much more powerful Canon than I have now. The zoom feature is amazing!! 10 megapixels, 20X wide zoom and image stabilization!! Can't ask for more! I'm looking forward to taking great pics in the mountains. Wow....I never finished scrapping England and now we're going to take tons more photos??! So many photos....so little time!

Oh well.................

Happy 4th....We are in Washington state at our daughters place....heading home tomorrow...Hate to leave but we have been gone 16 days and It seems like it has been gone for months. I am ready to get back home....LOVE those LO's on your gallery...will stop by and leave some love when I get back home.

Wanda, that is the camera I have had my eye on for several months. Almost bought it before the trip to Paris and Rome but just wasn't sure. Let me know how you like it. Have a great trip! I went to Santa Fe as a teenager and would love to go again. We have delayed our plans to go to Yellowstone this year because I will be in treatment for much of the summer and will need to do a shorter trip this year. We are considering Tenn. in the fall. Looking forward to seeing your photos from Santa Fe!
