Am back again,
I was lucky enough to meet up with penpals some of whom I have corresponded with for over 20 years. I was wonderful to meet up in person and the hospitality that we were shown . they took us to place we had heard of a but had never had the opportunity to actually see. One of my favourites was to 1 3th century pub where I embarrassed my self by pointing to the 4 foot high doorways and coming out with "are these for children"? No, says my friend laughing, Kate ,People in the 13th century werenn't very tall . Duh.
On the scrapbooking front I have started to incorporate some different techniques which look quite good .One was of The Effiel Tower .Did this in silver card and used thick double sided mounting take to make it stand out from the page also matted some of the photos onto white red and blue (as in the french @#$%*) looks quite effective.
Am going to start on a Beatrix potter page tomorrow have enlargesd and cut out some of her charatecters and intend trying a decoupage effect .will let you know if it works out. bye for now
