Supplies
1 Clear Scraps acrylic flower 1 12x12 Clear Scraps sheet Brown Timber StazOn ink Assorted Rhinestones 1 printed transparency bird 2 jump rings 2 different colors of Alcohol ink 1 sponge applicator 2 small flower stamps Zip Dry
Tools
Crop-a-dile Die cutter and 1" circle die Scissors
1. Using your 2 colors of alcohol ink, apply in a tie dyed fashion all over the back of the flower. Allow to dry 2. Using your flower stamp and brown StazOn ink stamp flowers, stamp a flower design on the front side of the flower on each petal and again around the center. (or use a circle design stamp for the center if you have one that fits) 3. Using your crop-a-dile punch a hole at the top of one petal so your sun catcher will be able to hang from your window. Follow that hole straight down to the top of the cut out circle and punch another hole there that will hold your cut out circle. 4. Cut a piece of your 12x12 acrylic sheet measuring 1 1/2"x1 1/2". Place this under your circle die and punch your 1" circle out. Peel protective backing off and attach a large rhinestone in the center and small rhinestones to surround the large one. Punch a hole near the edge of this and insert a jump ring. 5. Insert another jump ring in the inside hole you previously punched and link the two jump rings together. 6. Attach a rhinestone to the center of each stamped flower. 7. Print a bird graphic onto an inkjet transparency, cut it out, and attach using zip dry to the acrylic flower.
Display your suncatcher proudly!
