Clear Scraps Acrylic Pumpkin Album! Halloween Time....

XL "Pumpkin"...

Here's a FUN project that's easy to do and perfect to display in your home this Fall!

Csfall4
I turned the smaller circle that comes in the XL Circle package into this!!  It's my version of a Fall Pumpkin with lots of great techniques!

So first you want to take your cirlce shape, lay it on some paper towels and take out your Ranger Alcohol Inks in Fall shades:

Csfall5
I used Latte and Caramel and some blendind solution.  Apply to circle with applicator or freehand.

I did two coats of this, waiting a few minutes in between to let it dry.

Then I took some orange paint and a foam leaf stamp and stamped a few leaves at the top:

After this, I took an acrylic stamp from Fancy Pants and inked it with a brown Stayz On and stamped on the bottom portion of the cirlce:

After this dried, I took my scissors and cut off a small portion at the top of the circle to give it more of a Pumpkin shape:

Then I used some Magic Mesh and randomly placed small pieces in 3 places on the pumpkin:

There's a lot of steps but if you have all the supplies handy, it really takes less then 30 minutes from beginning to end and it's SO MUCH FUN TO MAKE!!!

After this, I took more of the orange paint and a foam paint brush and lightly brushed the edges of the pumpkin with the paint to give the edge some definition:

Now this is where you can start playing!!!

I used some old dictionary paper and found a page on "Seasons" since they didn't have a Fall or Autumn definition in the old dictionary for some reason...   I then inked the edged and distressed the paper a little and adhered it BEHIND the acrylic:

You don't have to put the papers completely INSIDE your project.  It looks nice to have them coming "off the page" and then just trim the excess.  I did the same thing with this Making Memories paper:

Csfall15
I didn't want to cover up the whole ACRYLIC "Pumpkin" with paper, so I just used a small amount of the scalloped paper and trimmed off the rest.  I'll save it for some other project or layout later.

Now here is where your project is pretty much done and the rest is up to you and what supplies and/or pictures you have and want to use!  I went a little crazy at my LSS getting all these Making Memories papers and embellies but you can use whatever you have on hand and just lay it out on your table until you like the placement and then adhere down.

So here's two pictures of my supplies and me just kind of playing around with it until I like what I have.  You can leave it without any pictures like the photo above this one if you like or add a family photo to make it more personal.  This would be a GREAT gift to make and so easy and FUN!

Here's the finished project again:
