I've been tagged, so here goes...
By: Jill

Thanks to Carmen (babymom0204) for tagging me.  It's taken a few days for me to get my answers together but here goes:

1. What scrapbooking lines/products/etc. do you DISlike?  Dislike?  Hummmm that 's a tough one because I really don't focus on things I don't care for.  One of my pet peeves is adhesives that don't stick, so that's all I have to say about that .
2. What is the hardest thing you've ever had to scrap? The son of one of our friends was killed in a motorcyle accident.  His mother had been meaning to get his scrapbooks finished but hadn't.  I offered to get them done (except for the journaling) before the viewing and funeral.  I only got 6 hours of sleep in a 72-hour stretch of serious scrapbooking.  Besides being tired, I was completely emotionally spent when I finished the last album.  I will say the experience helped me have closure sooner than if I hadn't had the experience.  I learned that I do my fastet (not necessarily my best) work when I have a deadline.  Three albums in three days was a deadline I'd never take on alone again.
3. What technique do you use more than any other? That would have to be creative lettering.  I like to use computer fonts but don't have too because I taught calligraphy and creative lettering for 15 years (before taking on Scrapbook.com).  It's quicker for me to letter things by hand.  Rub-ons are a different story...I really like those things!

4. Ever been published? (How/When/Where/etc)  From 1998 to 2000 I was published in CK with Creative Lettering articles and other articles.  I also contriuted numerous layouts, a bonus insert and was in a CK Lettering CD.

5. What is the best deal you think sb.com could offer? (Realisticly, LOL) Don't you think everything for free would be the ultimate???

6. What's the smallest scrap of paper you save? I don't usually go smaller than 3"x5" because it's such a hassle for me to organize and keep track of tiny stuff.  I have been known to take pieces of paper out of the trash that my friends throw away when die cutting.  They laugh at me until I show them what I was able to do with their "trash".

7. Ever have any scrapbooking-related injuries? Yep, went to the emergency room twice in a three month period for cut fingers from the die cut machine.  Obviously, I can't die cut, talk and laugh at the same time.  It's funny now, but was really scary then.

8. Finish the sentence... "If I wasn't a scrapbooker, I would spend my money...."  on massages or fabric for quilts.

9. Give us your best storage or organizational idea.  That would have to be the Display Dynamics Perfect Paper Stackable Paper Trays - Lipless.  I was fortunate to be able to work with DD on the creation of the lipless style (I wanted them to make the trays be more functional for scrapbookers).  And, am REALLY excited about the containers/inserts that are coming which complement the trays - making them more versatile.  I've been using the prototypes in my home for a few months for scrapping and non-scrapping related storage and organization and can't get enough of them.  I've used them for jewelry, office supplies, sewing/quiliting supplies, first-aid supplies and more.  They're amazing and will be in the Scrapbook.com Superstore soon; watch for them.

10. You just won a week-long scrapbooking cruise for 4. Name 3 neighbors you're taking.  Well, I'd first invite my husband Charlie but I don't think he would go, so then I'd invite my daughter and two daughters-in-law.

Wow, that was fun.  I'm going to go and tag a few of My Friends now.  If you would like to start a game of tag, the questions are below...

Love your answers! Can't believe you actually had one for question #7! Ouch!!! I don't think I have even received a paper cut. Knock on wood...I will probably lose a finger now that I say that!

Hey! I hosted a crop night once where a NURSE ran her fingers through the die cut machine as well! She went to the emergency room that night and got stitches. Yuck!!!

And I had to phone the lss owner to tell her at 11pm!

Who did you give that lovely heart attack to? :)

Have a great day!!!

Jenn:
Marti was with me the first time I sliced and diced. The second time I was in my studio working alone and talking on my speaker phone.

The ER doc was the same guy both times. He was kind and professional but had a few one liners that were deserved the second time.
