In two weeks my stepson is getting married.. I make this recipe throughout the year, but its always a favorite on my Christmas goodie trays... I love seeing the look on peoples faces when I tell them its made out of crackers! saltine crackers (38 to 44) depends on size of cookie sheet 2 sticks of butter (1 cup) 1/2 cup of sugar 1 12oz bag chocolate chips preheat oven to 350...lay tin foil on cookie sheet...place crackers on cookie sheet ,enough to cover the entire sheet...boil sugar and butter together for 3 minutes...pour over crackers....

Saturday, Aug 12th, was one of the worst days that both my husband and myself have experienced. It was Deployment day for my husbands oldest son Chris. he is the father of our grandaughter Ally. He is deployed to Afghanistan for 6 months ( he has a brief homecoming in Dec for 3 weeks). We were given 2 hours to hug and say our goodbyes.. the time flew by. Looking around was so sad, we saw a man with his possibly 1 month old baby..he held her the entire time..kissing her head every few seconds... ...
