Fingers crossed for next weekend!

Totally spur of the moment, but here's hoping I can get in to a 3-day weekend crop NEXT WEEKEND! It will be strange, so many new faces, but some old ones too. People and friends I've known from my scrapbook store. Still hard to see everyone, even after two years of being closed. But I have a TON to scrapbook, and as my new studio room is getting painted THIS WEEKEND, I thought it fun to kick off the year with a treat for ME!! Plus, studio or not in my house, little Ms. Five-Year-Old never leaves me alone once I step foot in that room!
I can hardly stand it!! Two nights of sleeping with no one hogging the covers, or dogs crying to eat at 5:30am, or kidlette coming in and putting her dolls all around me in my sleep (I am a heavy sleeper). Two and a half days to get inky fingers, eat M&M's, drink martini's, eating dessert, and oh...SCRAPBOOKING!!!!!

Wow..........I can't even think about getting away from the house for a night.
Actually, I have a hard time getting away from the house period !!
Well knock yourself out honey and have a ball!! Sounds like a blast!!
Did you decide on colors for the studio room yet......did I miss that?

My husband asked if I finalized the colors so we can paint this weekend and I said YES, but I meant that I narrowed it down to light lavendar walls with a sage green closet and accessories OR light yellow walls with a purple closet and white/sage green accessories OR some other combo I have yet to come up with!!

My friend actually said she was going away for a crop this weekend somewhere in New Jersey! Maybe it will be the same one... Small world if so... I think she said hers was a Cabin Crop though?... I've gotta ask though, what is all this crop business anyway... I don't think I could go stay with strangers for days...

Nope, not the same one! I'm going to Deleware for the SimplyCropping.com winter getaway! Three days away from your 'normal' life is fun! But sometimes it is a bit of overload in a room of up to 100 other women (and sometimes a few men) cropping. That's why I sleep in late and take naps - stuff I can't do at home!
