I just have to share...   (8 comments, 417 views) Wednesday, 10 October 2007

I never thought I was a ribbon user, or horder, for that matter! I just learned this recently, when upon cleaning my scrapbook studio, I came across ribbons and ribbons, and more ribbons I never knew I had!

So, obviously, I needed a storage solution. I wanted something that would hold EVERYTHING, still be portable for my cropping adventures, something that would look fabulous in my studio, and most importantly, something that was AFFORDABLE.

So, about two weeks ago, I walked in to work and this incredible Pull-Ez Ribbon Purse was sitting on my desk. Tricia, a co-worker, said she placed it there so I would include it in my next newsletter.

After carefully studying this product, the lightbulb went off!

This was the solution to my problem :) It was lightweight, yet durable and small enough to cart to crops. It is absolutely TO DIE FOR when filled with all the glorious ribbon I have, and get this: it's ONLY $19.99. You'll never buy another ribbon storage device, ever...well, unless you completely fill this one and need another :) LOL!

Here is my Pull-Ez Ribbon Purse:

P.S. I'm not the only one who thinks this is the greatest thing since sliced bread! It's rated 5-stars by your Scrapbook.com Neighbors. Go read the reviews.

I think I will put this in my wish list for my DH to get me for Christmas! I think the idea is GREAT! I for one do not have a great way of storing my ribbon. I'm always searching for what I can't find. I wonder how many holes are in this thing... Thanks for sharing this product kels!

Are the lengths of ribbon curled up together inside the "purse"? Can you put other ribbon in if you use up some of the ones near the bottom?

May sound like dumb questions but I'm one of those who has to "see and hold" to understand how something works. I have tried several storage ideas for ribbon and haven't been satisfied with anything yet.

There are so many holes in this to accomodate tons of ribbon! I thought I would for sure fill them all, but I only filled about 3/4...which is great, now I can buy and store even MORE ribbon! Hehehe. I hand coiled the excess ribbon inside the pouch so that stray loops wouldn't accidentally tug at the ends of a different ribbon. I love this storage solution!

oakhills, this purse is "recommended" for 3 foot lengths of ribbon, however, I had spools upon spools much longer than that and it all fits quite nicely, and as you can see, my purse is FULL :)

As long as you can dig, you cen get your hands in there to re-thread newer ribbons along the bottom... Enjoy!
