Christmas just isn't the same when your kids get older. How I miss stashing packages in the trunk of my car...sneaking things inside on Christmas Eve...trying to be quiet as to not wake the kids. I miss the excitement of the sparkle in their eyes on Christmas Day when they discovered what Santa had left under the tree. I miss my Daddy prentending to hate Christmas when he secretly loved it. Thanksgiving is over, and I didn't enjoy it much this year...which is sad...it is my favorite holiday. It didn't feel like Thanksgiving to me at all. Alot of changes have taken place in our family over the past year. An uncle passed away, DD and her boyfriend of 3.5 years broke up, and we lost 3 more due to divorce. I miss the tradition of the way things have always been. I know that as we get older, things change....but I don't LIKE change. I want things to be the way they have always been...
