Kathren wants us to get to know each other a little better in this challenge so here is my info!
A little twist this month... Go to your profile and start a new entry in your BLOG section called February Use Your Supplies: Then link it to the thread so we can get to know you! Tell us: 1. What is your number one scrapbooking goal in 2008? Get caught up!!!! LOL! Maybe to get some sort of acknowledgement ie published or a dt or winning a contest of some sort. 2. Something you would like us to know about your life right now. I love getting REAL feedback on my lo's! Not just the same old comments of "cute, pretty, nice pic". I think those comments are code for "not really a cute lo but I don't want to say anything mean!" LOL!!!!!! So I welcome all real comments. Tell me what you REALLY think!!!!!! 3. Your favorite TV show! I usually NEVER miss ER! I have loved that show from the first season that it was on!
I can't wait to learn more about everyone else in the challenge!

1) I don't think we'll ever be "caught up" !! I'm starting to sort my parents pictures that go way back to the 40's and 50's! Wish me luck!!
2) I know what you mean about "real" comments, but to be honest, I am guilty (sometimes!) about leaving those comments "nice pic, cute, etc." The truth is, I don't hate the LO. If I did, I just wouldn't leave a comment.
3) Can I tell you - I've never even seen ER. CSI is more my show.
Great getting to know you!!!!!
Hugs, christine

1--caught up? lol, only in my dreams! I'm just trying to get something done, so I seem to be skipping around a lot.
2. I always figure "nice page" is better than no comment at all. It acknowleges that someone took the time to look at my page and acknowlege it. Between trying to sneak on at work and being stuck with super slow dialup at home, I don't always have the time to say much more....i'm at work now and it's taking forever to write this little bit, lol, because I have to keep minimizing it everytime someone walks in the office. Real comments are better...both when giving and receiving. But some of us do have time constraints, lol. Besides your work is lovely so in your case, "nice page" is probably a major understatement ;)
3 I used to love ER too, it was my must watch show for the week...until they killed off dr green.

1. Good luck! I hope you get into one or more that's really meant for you:)
2. You're pages are great tho! But, it is nice to see some helpful critique:)
3. I use to be an avid ER watcher, but I can't get in to it now. I still watch the old ones on TBS tho:)
BTW, thanks for the well wishes:)

You should be able to get some recognition with your work. Great to read a little about your thoughts.

If anyone can get published, it's you! you've got some beautiful pages! My problem with getting caught up is that I continue to take pics! Good luck on that!

Just kidding. LOL! Just could NOT resist the temptation.
I didn't start this until my oldest was 31 with 4 kids of his own. I also have 50 years worth of heritage photos. I'll *NEVER* get "caught up" but I admire your desire to do so. And, from what I've seen in your gallery, I'd say the getting published goal is just as attainable. . .maybe more attainable. . than getting caught up.
I was with you on the ER thing until Noah Wylie left. . . he was the last of the originals. I still watch the reruns!

So I guess you accomplished #1 on your list! Congrats to you for that! Your lo's are really great, and it is sometimes hard not to be redundant sometimes when commenting on so many layouts...nice to "meet" you!

About ur goal...good luck with it & I am sure u will achieve it. About number 2 yes sometimes I even like getting honest comments....but I'm guilty of what u mentioned. A page is nice when u look at it & thats what I mean to say when I say cute or nice page. Sometimes when there is a lot of journaling & we get to read that, I like to comment about that. Ok in future I'll try to be even more specific.

RE: Tell me what you REALLY think!
Ouch, that kinda bit. If someone takes the time to say pretty, cute, nice, isn't that positive response, like a smile? I like smiles. Saying it is code for Yuck makes me not want to leave any feedback because it might be judged? Sorry if harsh. If they didn't like your LO, I would guess they wouldn't waste their time responding at all.
Did you really want real feedback (I know I was responding to the post and not your LOs). I do try to leave specific comments so they know what I like uniquely about that Lo.
