You know how you have certain books that you remember from childhood and you feel attached to them because they formed some portion of who you are or at least how you feel about books. Well, I’m looking for a book that has 3 stories about a girl named Penny. In the first story, she loses her red ball in the end, finds it in her own pocket. In the next one, she goes to the circus with her family and gets lost and found. In the 3rd story, she has her own circus in the back yard. I neee... Continue Reading...

While my brother was in town, he helped me design and build some shelves... well, he helped my father-in-law design and build some shelves for our new storage room. Last year i went on a search of something i could use to display my... Continue Reading...

Okay, I have a problem. I’m not sure if the problem is the problem or if the fact that I care about it is the problem. I seem to be at a stopping point in my Sudoku skill. I can do easy puzzles. I can do sorta hard puzzles. I can occasionally stare at a difficult puzzle for a week or so and finally spot the one thing I’ve been missing that will allow me to complete the puzzle. I have no hope of ever completing a fiendish puzzle. Can they be done?
What am I missing? I cros... Continue Reading...

There are, i'm sad to say, many days when i don't get dressed until Noon, if i get dressed at all. Here is the problem with exercise: If i'm not going to get dressed once, why would i get dressed twice? especially if that includes my iron sports bra, socks and lace-up shoes?
My shoe wardrobe includes approximately 14 pairs of shoes, okay, maybe 18. all but 2 of those pairs are slip-ons. The two that are not are my zip-up gogo boots and my exercise shoes. I have designed my life this way ... Continue Reading...
