I'm babysitting my younger grandson, Blake, while dd is training a friend at MIL's about horses. It's raining and yucky here. Hope they're staying somewhat dry. It's dirty work with horses even in the best of weather but in this... :(

I've had Blake play for over an hour with my marbles. He's since moved on to Moon Sand which he dubbed "poo poo" which means he doesn't like it. So I gave him Play Dough which he does like. He's in my craft cave playing with it right now. :)

Been scrubbing my kitchen floor. Not finished but got the worst of it. Will now work on those red pix of mine.

I'm having an out of control life issue. I need to be able to go through everything and organize it like I did last year and not be interrupted. Only problem is that I need to do this in my entire house and not just my cropspace.

On the previous thread, I suggested a different version of a Circle Journal.

Circle Journal Information:
I suggest 8x8 format because it's easy to do and will fit into a standard mailer.

It's everyone's choice to do either a single or a two page spread and to add whatever you want. Vivian, personally, would like to see a current photo, likes and dislikes on whatever, and something unusual about each person. Like for Liz/Moxie to show her extensive Stickles collection.

To keep things simple, do the same layout for everyone. You could change papers and such depending on your stash but keeping to the same design will make things much easier/faster and no one gets a better page from you than the next person. If someone is short on funds/time to make copies, digitals are acceptable. Even digital copies can be doctored up (read that as blinged) to make a hybrid layout.

PM those you want page(s) from and you'll be getting PMs from others in the Circle. Just let it be known you're interesting in doing this in the thread. This isn't just for VCWer, so if you want to add other people, go ahead. It's your album.

Since many people aren't able to keep up with the thread, stating over here those that are interested in doing this would make more sense. So I'm stating that I'm in.

I just read about the circle journal. I'd like to be in...but I'm not exactly sure how it will work. Maybe I'll figure it out if I read more. I've finally decided that last Thursday was my last day of tutoring. I haven't informed the families yet. Dreading that confrontation, but it has to be done. This past week I missed my middle daughter being announced and given her certificate for cheerleading and I missed my littlest daughters basketball game. I'm tired of missing things. It will take a little creative financing, but as dh pointed out, we already do that! It will just be a little tighter around here.

I've been away for quite awhile --- missed everyone a lot!
I did "lurk" a little every chance I got, just to see what everyone was up to.
Now in week 24 of my pregnancy. Starting to feel like I am in the nesting stage --- but have no energy to do any of it! I just need one good, long weekend to get some things accomplished!

I'm getting ready for Lizzie's 5th birthday party. She turned 5 on Wednesday, and with that milestone birthday came her first pack of bubble gum. I've also been working six days a week the past several weeks and I'm beginning to get tired. I took off tomorrow (for the party) and for a rest. I am hoping to squeeze a little crop time in this weekend.

Thursday Brian and I celebrated the 10th anniversary of our first date. He brought me home my favorite flowers (Yellow Tulips) and we rented No Reservations and just had a good time just being together, we've decided to rent a movie and cuddle on the couch watching it once a week. As always I'm very busy with homework. My next big paper is due in 10 days and it's a non-western myth.

I'll also be taking some pix of myself for the CJ layouts. Wearing make up and my largest tiara. :LOL:

Ohmygoodness! So this is what it feels like to be a "regular" Grandma. :) Went to church this morning, then out to lunch. DGS fell asleep in the car for about 10 minutes on the way home, then was wide awake. (Didn't go to sleep again until he went to bed tonight - basically 12 hours of being up.) But when we realized he wasn't going to go back to sleep this afternoon, I got him out of bed, took him in to his mama (who was also trying to get a nap), handed him to her, and came back into the study, back to the computer and back to scrapping. I was in here for four hours this afternoon while she took care of the kid.

I like this Spring Break business. :D

Just been busy catching up! Catching up at work. Catching up at home. Kid issues. Spent the weekend working on computer issues, putting wedding photos in an album, uploading Michael's layouts, printing out some more pictures for Michael and for the wedding.
On the upside I got to spend a lot of time around here!!

Not cooking today but I'm now watching both boys. Gonna feed them fried rice with Korean style chicken thighs then it's nap time for them and rest for me. :LOL:

Already got the car pretty much loaded up for church tonight.

Planning out the pages for my mother's album. Alot of black bg with DCWV papers, mainly from the Far East stack but some others thrown in, too. I'll work on that while the boys sleep.

I probably won't be back on until after church. Hope that dd and her dh get back early from Charleston. They're house hunting down there. SIL's transfer is the 30th of this month instead of May. :(

I don't mind taking the boys to church but it makes it much harder on me.

Today I cleaned and organized those photos for my mother. It will end up with 65-70 12x12 pages!!! I'll use a D-ring album. Got everything ready for the album. Will be using alot of black card stock with DCWV papers from Far East, Luxury, Once Upon A Time and maybe others.

Was hardly on the computer today.

Did nothing. Nothing happened. Just tired.
But Viv likes it when people update the blog.

Liz got one of those phone calls that no one wants to get at 3:30 in the morning. Brian's dad died, it was a massive heart attack and he didn't make it through surgery. Brian left to go get his belongings and whatever else he needs to do at the hospital. We've decided we're still going to go through with Micayla's party on Saturday but I'm not so sure how to tell her that he passed away.
