Got up early to get ready to run an errand for dh. Was getting dressed and ready to go when dh informs me that it can wait until Tuesday when I do my other errands. :gaah:  Just had to laugh.
So now I'm laundering our bed stuff. Gonna put away our heavy mink blankets and get out our cooler, warm weather stuff. These mink blankets are a pain to wash and dry.
In between chores and being here, online, I plan on finishing power cropping for my mother's album.

It's a quiet day in the office. Lots of people took off today. Is it a holiday that I don't know about?
I'm working at the squad this weekend. Also have ds#3 baseball games to attend. It's that season again!
I got papers to get started on my CJ. Now I just need a design idea. There is something bouncing around in my head - but we'll see if I can make it show up on paper! :-)

Last night an overnight trip to a worship music conference fell into my lap. Registration is already paid. Hotel could be paid, if I don't feel I can afford it. (Still thinking on that one.) The sweet thing is, I'd wanted to go to this, but this is truly the only way it could have happened.
Good day today on the job front. Nice news on the one hand, encouraging developments on the other. Stay tuned for further details.... :)

I filed my taxes and made a shredded/pulled BBQ beef today. I also blogged that Squirrely is gone.

Yesterday we got our new camper! Sooooo excited! We drove up to the place early so they could show us through it and teach us all about it, filling the tanks, flushing the tanks, using the furnace and the water heater, unrolling and rolling the awning...
finished up all the paperwork, and by the time we were done they had it all hooked up and ready to tow down to the campsite for us!
Also, they were having an open house and I won the first door prize drawing of the day! A cool set of lights, and some chemicals for the toilet!
Towed it all the way to the campground and the guy tried really hard to get it into our lot just right, but it was soooooo muddy (rained HARD in the morning) that he was just slipping and sliding and tearing the lot up bad. So we got the ranger and he came with a bug tractor and got it positioned just right. He tired to help us get it up on boards so the tires weren't in the mud and dirt but was just slipping around tooooo much (and further tearing up the lot!) So we had to jack it up to get the boards under it and get it leveled....and of COARSE the skies opened up again! Is there an umbrella or anything in my car? Nope! So I am standing there trying to hold a nylon picnic blanket over hubby while he is trying to level the camper!
By the time we were done, we were both covered in mud. Chief was covered in mud! and doing everything we could to keep him from going INTO the new camper that way!
Then we came home, grabbed some odds and ends, 3 bales of straw! and the kids, and went back down and spent the night. Sooo cool!
Of coarse it took us a couple hours to then smooth out all of the tire tracks and mess from the truck and the tractor!
Tonight we went out and bought a big Rubbermaid shed and all the lumber we need to build the deck.

Today we came home from the camper in time to get dd to choir practice. Friend came over and he and hubby chatted and worked on getting his truck out of here to get hte brakes repaired, so hubby can buy it (hope nothing else goes wrong).
I started sorting and cleaning some. Knew I had stuff in cupboards here we could use at the camper without going out and buying more.
Ended up cleaning a linen closet that has been driving me nuts for a year or more! Lots of old sheets no one will use on their beds anymore...well they are good enough for the camper! Old crummy towels? Gone...Old rugs I have no idea why I saved...even the right colors for the camper!!!
That led me to some kitchen cupboards (all the old plastic cups, and drink cozies....GONE! Cleaned off my countertops too....which led me to the cupboard in my kitchen where I keep medicines (threw out the ones that expired in 2007...& 2006...and 2003!!!) :faint:
Cleaned out the cupboards in the buffett, and one drawer (do we really need pizza coupons that expired in 2006??) :faint: :faint:
Have two more drawers to clean out in the buffett, but ran out of steam.
Sat down on the couch, puppy crawled in my lap, and I fell asleep for an hour...then got up and cleaned a little more until hubby came home from working on buddy's boat. He cooked dinner, we ate, and then off to Home Depot to buy all the stuff for the deck.

I got 30 pages started at last night's crop. All 12x12s for my mother's birthday album. I'm now more than half way done it. I will be so glad to get that album into her hands!
Went to church this morning without dh and ds. I think my dh is burnt out in alot of way and the stress of homeschooling is already getting to him. I guess he's getting a taste of what I was dealing with before. :sigh:
I still need to unload my car of my scrapping stuff and get some stuff done around the house.

today was a pretty awesome day. Brian took the kids this morning woke me just before 10 told me to get dress and we were dropping the kids off with his Nana for a few hours and him and I were going to go out to lunch and go shopping (Now usually he works on Monday but took today off). I was asked why and he reminded me that today was the 10 year anniversary of when we started to date. We went to The Disney Outlet in Hershey and The scrapbook store there, Things Remembered (I think that was the name), we didn't find anything there, then we went to the mall and ended up just having lunch there (I was starting to feel sick since I hadn't eaten all day). Then off to Michaels and Target. Got some neat things at Michaels. I got Making Memories princes Bright brads, Animal primary brads, and some Princess Shimmer brads, The Train Car, Train Engine, and Train Caboose cuttlebug dies (Brian picked them out) and the Princess embossing folder (Brian also picked them out). At Target we got my niece her birthday present (Tomorrow) and Geoff one of his birthday presents (May 1). Then went back and grabbed the kids and came home. All and all a really good day.

A decent day here. Got my Circle Journal pages mailed out. Now I can focus on a "normal" layout. :) DD had a friend come over who lives out of town. The two of them went for lunch (took the baby), which meant Grandma got a good nap. They also took the kiddo to the park (his first time) - he LOVED it! Hopefully he'll be tired enough to sleep all night but not so tired that he has trouble sleeping.

Our bathroom is leaking (it's minor) and needs repair. Got an estimate to have the work done. YIKES!
My dad is having surgery today. A hip replacement and some vascular work. Praying for the doc to have steady hands and my dad to have strength!
Working on my CJ pages.

Builders are still building. Thursday will be day three. They the wood frame all up and most of the exterior walls at in place along with all 5 windows and one of the two doors. Hopefully, Thursday they will pour the concrete.
Dh NOW tells me that it may be months before we can move in. :o He was thinking of paying off the loan before contracting more help or buying the heating and air conditioning unit(s). Then comment's that this will double our current power bill. :( No, I think he's got it all wrong. What's the point of having this building up if we're not using it. Just bite the bullet and get the work done completely! :sigh:
I explained the potential for me to make enough money hosting crops to cover most if not all of the power bill. Along with more if he'll let me do other things too to cover expenses. We'll see...
Blake, the younger grandson, grabbed onto me today. First time, he initiated this and he didn't want me to leave. I've got him this morning so I'm looking forward to time with him even more than usual.

Took pics of Spaz this am. Not posting them anytime soon, as site is boggier than a swamp.
John just called and asked what I thought of him switching to a 4pm to 12:30 am shift. I'm upset about it right now. Will post more on it later, once we talk about it. I think I'm most upset because it will impact my business and my ability to do things with it and mostly because his timing at bringing it up stinks. I would've rather him came home and asked me about it tomorrow, when I don't need to get things done as badly.
