That kitty used to be me! lol.

Past two days I've hardly gotten anything done around my home. Gotta do laundry, wash the bed sheets, clean the house and still power crop the rest of 2006 for the crop tomorrow night. At least I'm still hoping to make that crop. It's really far from my house but I really want to make it since I missed yesterday's group and that group won't meet again until August.

I placed an order for more tea from Stash Tea. More loose white and spearmint. Even though it's summer, I'm trying to get the antioxidant benefits of white tea in the mornings and testosterone busting spearmint in the evenings. I'll play with making cold version of these, too. :p

Had my job interview. It went well, I think, but at the same time I'm even less thrilled with the job than I was when I applied. I'll know more next week, I'm not going to sweat over it because right now, there is a possibility that I could turn them down.

My to-do list:

- vacuum rooms & living room

Hey All!!! So I havent been around much but between not having internet at the house and actually being motivated to do work at work I havent been able to catch up so this will have to do... Survived another week of daytime training. Start night training Monday.

We found and made an offer - which was accepted - on a townhouse for DD. We still have to have an inspection done...there are definitely a few things that need to be addressed...so it's not entirely a done deal yet. But this one is ours if we want it.

DD got a call today from the place that's putting her through the interview process. She's supposed to go for a drug screen tomorrow morning. The lady told her the hours they want her to work - probably the worst possible for a young single mom who has to figure out kidcare (esp. when her mom just started a night job so the daughter could get a day job). They want her to work M/W/F from 4 pm to midnight, and from 12 midnight Sunday morning until 4 pm Sunday afternoon. On the good side, that gives her days to be home with the kid, and ALL day Tuesday and Thursday. On the bad side, it means she needs someone who can be at her place to put him to bed 4 nights a week...she'd never get to go to church on Sunday morning...she would never get Friday OR Saturday nights to just "be a teenager" and hang out with friends.

After the lady gets the drug test results, she's going to call again. I think DD is going to say, hey, I have a lot of questions and it would be a lot easier to ask you about them in person. When can I come in? (I told her that's a very adult way to handle it.) And she can find out if this is her only option (in which case we'll just deal with it) or whether there's someone else who needs a helper, or whether the other job she applied for with a group home would still be available.

So any prayers that you can toss up for this all to work out favorably would be very appreciated.

I got the money bouquet done and uploaded. :D Along with what son made for supper tonight. :D

Tastefully Simple Party was awesome. 7 of my guests showed up, everyone had fun, paid attention and bought something. Someone even booked a party, so I get extra stuff! Wheeeee!

Vacation was awesome. The kids loved the beach. No one wanted to leave. My avatar is a picture of us doing one of those old time photo things when we were there. We took Micayla to paint her own ceramic, she chose a crown and painted purple and then I put her name in dark pink on it. She had a blast doing that and hey we had to have craft time somehow. We got lost on the way down and the way back (I'm pretty sure a road that the map said was there is no longer there). Other than that we did have a great time and made some great memories.

I'm 12 pages into my Disney picfolio album. I'm designing it all in Memory Manager and I'll export and print the pics for it and then put them in the album once I pick up the pictures. I just hope that I don't run out of room in the album (it's a fixed album and you can't add pages) before I run out of pics.

Not much exciting today, other than the fact that DGS refused AGAIN to take a nap! *sigh* We did manage to get him to sleep tonight without crying...but only because "mee-meow" (Mamaw) rocked him while he took his bottle and then continued to rock him until he was soooo asleep that he didn't wake up when being laid down. (About 45 minutes total.) (Not that I minded the cuddle time.)

We did get out today (me, DD, DGS) and go to her work for lunch so she could see NBF (new bf). There's only one person at work - his best friend - who knows they're together, so it was funny to see them trying to play it cool. I nearly lost it when her best friend at work...who knows nothing...was standing and talking to us when NBF stopped at the table (supposedly to play with DGS)...and she informed him that no one at our table likes him so he just needed to leave. It was all I could do to not bust out laughing. :D

I did manage to finish a 2-pg LO this morning before anyone else was up. I'll get pictures and post it eventually.

Hey everyone!!! I know that I have been MIA for soo long, its been so hectic around here and I needed a break just to breath. And just when things start to settle down and look calm and peaceful bad things start coming up! But I am anxious to chat with ya'll again!!!! I am super curious to find out what's been going on, I miss ya'll!!! I will hopefully be on tomorrow evening to chat!!!

I'm trying to fast today, at least until 3 but longer if I can. Drinking my white tea though and lots and lots of water.

Gonna try to stay home, no errands, not even to the local library. Lots of house work and stuff to do in the building, too.

Can't seem to get motivated for this whole past week. Kinda fighting depression.

Just got back from running errands with the family. John bought me wine and beer so I don't have to risk rejection with my phoney looking temp license (and let me just say that if I were counterfiting a NH temp llicense I would be doing a much better job than the DMV did producing the real one. Have they no pride in their work?) no one is coming over to crop tonight because we're having more horrible thunderstorms and people don't want to get their stuff wet because it's raining so hard that there's no visibility at all and you can't see much past your face.

Okay...I'm leaving a comment...! I really don't know what to put. It's been a long day here at work and I've had a good thing & bad thing to happen to me (I posted this in the thread).

Took son to orthodontist today. Next visit in 6 months.

Went to ACM and bought NOTHING! So strange and bittersweet.

Went to Sam's got the rest of the tableclothes for church. Still have some money left for some other stuff.

Bought cup holders for our cars. Neither the Volvo or the Mercedes have cup holders. At least for trips we'll now have them.

Still unmotivated. Thinking of going back onto coffee in the morning. :sigh:

Why am I the one that has to do all the projects at work? A question I asked my boss today....You see I am technacally just a temp for the summer months... Boss' response "Becasue you are capable of doing the projects and she (the full-time secritary) cant, Can I keep you?" ROFL!!!! I feel so loved!!!

John's on his way to Texas. I've been up since 3:30 this morning and I can't wait to nap once Abby's at school. I just placed an order here at the superstore because I need a Cuttlebug spacer to hold my air conditioner vent in the window. Have a list of chores that need to be done, too.

Actually doing stuff in the building while watching B5 DVD from Netflix which I want to send back today!

Had a tooth removed today. It was not abscessed so I did not have to go on antibiotics it also didn't have to be sown up. The numbing stuff has finally worn off 4 hours later (Not fun having one side numb and half your tongue numb). Other than that got a few scrapbooking supplies in the mail today and my kids drove me nuts so pretty much same stuff different day.
