I have been in Phoenix visiting my mom and 93 yr. old Grandmother and what an interesting time it was! I arrived in the early evening of May 31st on a flight from Houston that was a very pleasant ride! But early Sunday morning I awoke to hear my mom exclaiming "Oh No! What am I going to do?!" I rushed from my room and promptly stepped onto an extremely soggy, soaked carpet in the hallway. Today is a celebration for all those who have given or are giving their time and lives that we may enjoy this free country. I don't ever want to forget what our country is about; freedom, democracy, respect for life, respect for others, love. What a beautiful morning! I love it when the sky is so brilliantly blue with the sun shining brightly. I am for cloudless,sunny days. They just lift my spirit. Okay so here it is, two days after Mom's day and I'm still soaking in the day. It was just a great day! My dh, my ds and I drove into Houston to spend the day with our dd's #1 and 2. We met up with them and my MIL, SIL and SIL's two dd's at Pappasitos for a tasty Mom's day lunch. It was packed! no surprise there But we enjoyed the wait, visiting and people watching.
