Frustration!   (1 comment, 12 views) Monday, 21 April 2008

I wish I knew how to scan and stitch my layouts so I didn't have to take pics of them all the time for uploading. The layouts I uploaded look so yuck. IRL they are really pretty and bold, but the pics look miserable. Okay, vent over!

My day actually started out really great. Had an awesome quiet time with the Lord, woke up with NO migraine! Woohoo, two days in a row with no headache is wonderful after having a headache for an entire week! Pain is no fun, but even the pain of a migraine the Lord uses to draw us closer to Himself. Who else can comfort when the medicine refuses to work? Who else can listen unconditionally as we pour out our hurt? Praise Him!

I'm hoping to tackle more layouts before I head off to work at the lss today. I'm kinda stuck for some reason. I took oodles of pictures, nothing new about that, but am having a hard time incorporating them all. Not that I am going to scrap every single one, but I'm not a "one picture" scrapper! So, I've got my Page Maps printouts, my Simple Scrapbooks mags, Scrabooks Etc., and Memory Makers out and I'm flipping through the pages in the hopes that I'll be greatly inspired

Have a blessed and scrappy day!

Hi there,
I was frustrated too with the sticthing thing, then I got this little tip.
If you have a scanner, go to this website http://www.arcsoft.com/products/panoramamaker/
and down load their free trial version of their panaramic software. i did, and it is so simple........... even i can do it! (not that computer literate !). you just scan 1/2 the layout, move it to the other side, scan the second 1/2 the layout, and voila ... you can stitch them together, and then save as one jpeg file. ! all my lo's are done using that little software program. very easy.
if you end up liking it, then you can purchase it, and it is not very expensive either.
just thought I would help out another Texan! I live in Arizona now, but was born and raised in Texas.........
GO COWBOYS!
have a good week,
Karen
