Wow! Today is May 1st!! It's my best friend from junior high and high school's birthday. Happy birthday Judy, where ever you are It's also National Day of Prayer. Isn't it great that we can claim a day for prayer in this country? I'm proud to be an American. I'm proud of our country's heritage and I'm proud that we can take a stand for our beliefs. Sounds like a great scrapbook page, doesn't it? I'm definitely going to scrap my faith today. I want my grandchildren (yet to be!) to know their family's foundation is Jesus Christ. I am wishing I had BG's cupcake line for this page. It's fun, it's celebratory and it's BG! I mean, what could be better?!

I love lots of things, but not the way I love the Lord. I am entirely grateful for His love for me. I think about that a lot. I am selfish so much of the time. When I think about some of the awful things I did in my past, as recent as yesterday, I'm shocked by God's love for me. There's nothing in me, in my human self, that warrants such love, it's Jesus in me. It's knowing that His righteousness is granted to me because I accepted what Christ did for me on the cross (John 3:16). I 'm forgiven!!! Now if that is not a cause for rejoicing, I don't know what is!!!
