So I'm facing a dilemma...not earth shattering or life altering, but it's a dilemma! My dh and son wanted to know what I wanted for Mother's day. Originally I said a zoom lense for my camera but...I have seen all the awesome things you can do with the Quickutz Silhouette and I just love it!! I'm torn between the two Which do I choose? I so love taking pictures of God's beautiful universe and getting close up is a great way to do that without disturbing the scene. And the pictures are what scrapbooking is all about, but...A great layout just compliments those pictures even more and I am a Fontaholic-a wordaholic, acutually! Words are just about as important to me as the pictures. Arrggg!!!

Thankfully, I can say that other areas of my life did not and do not require this much agonizing. Choosing Christ was by far the best and easiest decision of my life! Living prior to Christ, trying to fulfill my heart and find that peace was a never-ending struggle. No sooner did I find what I thought would give me that love, significance or deep-felt peace than it would flit away. I know you know what I'm talking about-a job that you couldn't wait to get, a promotion, a clap on the back from your boss, recognition from coworkers. The attention from a particular guy, actually going on a date with said guy, a major wardrobe purchase, vacation to an awesome destination...the list is endless. All those "things" don't satisfy because they can't. Our hunger for more and better drives us to seek out the next great thrill-so it's a vicious cycle. But God satisfies my soul in ways this world never can. Because He made me and knows what will really fulfill me. Himself!!
