Dear Family and Friends,                                                               February 6, 2007

In April 2007 (date still being confirmed), I, along with my sister Lynne (Lplsnt on this site), are honored to be hosting a scrapbooking charity event at Recollections in Columbia Maryland to raise money and awareness for the Children’s Miracle Network. 

As some of you know, my 2 year old  Brandon has been chosen to be this year’s  Children’s Center Maryland State Ambassador Champion and for those of you who know his medical history, you will recall that we “lived” at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center and NICU for 7 ½ months so they are near and dear to our hearts!

His story /picture isn’t posted yet, but until it is, please feel free to visit their website to learn more about this VERY worthy charity @ www.childrensmiraclenetwork.org.  I need your help to reach my goal of      $ 5,000 in donations.  You can help us be a HUGE success in a few ways:

1.      You can pass the word and have family & friends register for our crop and come out and be part of the fun!  The amazing & generous staff at Recollections is working hard on the details so as soon as I find out more, I’ll pass on to those let me know they are interested. I do believe though that space will be limited to 24 people.

2.       To those of you who don’t scrap, we will be accepting donations ;-)  If you could spare a little (or a lot) would you please send me a check made out to the charity?  I would really appreciate it and in return I will be sure and keep you on my Christmas card list this year. (ha ha)   So do it now before you forget!  Tax deductible receipts will be mailed to those who donate.
