A post by Love LuLu - http://www.scrapbook.com/forums/showtopic.php?tid/1443125/ - tempted me to blog about my new way of scrapping. I realize many of you have seen this and may do this already, but I wanted to blog about it here for those who haven't tried it already. Muchas gracias to Lisa McGarvey who brought this idea out in the open after she saw some friends do it.
If you are like me or LuLu and have pondered over which size to create a layout in, which size album to buy, or if you should switch layout sizes . . . try this! I put all different size layouts in a 12x12 D-ring album. I use the D-ring American Crafts album:

but any D-ring album would do. I simply place all my layouts regardless of size into the album. At first I thought it would be distracting to have 12x12 layouts peeking out from under a smaller layout, but it's not. As a matter of fact, I LIKE the way it looks. You may have to punch some holes into page protectors to make them fit, but it's no big deal. I've even put 8x8 layouts in this album. Try this before investing in a whole different size album if you want.
So no more fretting over which size to scrap, because with a D-ring album, SIZE DOESN'T MATTER
!
