We are now the proud parents of ten chicks!  Check out my gallery for photos!  They are too cute!  This is another step toward being more independent and less reliant on others.  Our property is just the right size (3.5 acres) for a small homestead.  I'll be putting our garden in soon, so that will provide us with the veggies that we eat the most.  Can't wait to make my own spaghetti sauce with tomatoes I have grown myself.
