Hi there,

It's been a while, but I have some good reasons!!!

July 10th Keanu celebrated his first birthday!!! Wow, it's amazing how fast the first year has gone by!! Anyway, we celebrated his birthday with a big party on the 8th because it was in the weekend, so we were lucky, the weather was sunny and everybody got outside, Keanu was spoiled a lot, he got lots of presents, and he loved all the attention and all his little friends around him, I have some great pics, hopefully I have time to scrap them soon. Tuesday the 10th was his real birthday, but just a few friends came then, because most of them already came on sunday at the big party, and I was glad, because when he woke up , he didn't feel to well, he felt a little sick, had a little fever , poor little boy. But I had time to take some fun pics with his birthday cake.

That same night I became sick as well, boy I felt bad, but the next friday we should go on vacation to France!!! I spend three days in bed, eating a lot of vitamines etc. On friday I still didn't feel to good, but I wanted to go on vacation. So at 10.30 pm we got into the car on our way to France. Boy I felt so bad, we had to stop every hour because I felt sick,  we had to drive about 900 km , but to me it looks twice as much!!

Luckily I "survived" hehe, it was great to be there again, we went to some friends who lived there, and started a little camping overthere. We visited a lot of nice places, but the weather wasn't to good, the first days were warm and sunny. Keanu enjoyed playing in the kiddy pool. At the end of the first week we had two times thunderstorms and lots of rain. They had to evacuate a camping which was 8km from where we were. The water came through the streets. After two days we said; we wait untill the weekend, when it's not getting better we are going home. But on sunday the weater was sunny again, but it was to cold the get into the pool.  In the evening it was every night so so cold, looks like winter !!! I didn't like it that we couldn't sit outside because of the stormy wheater, we had to put warm clothes on (which I didn't bring with us ofcourse).  So tuesday morning I was so finished with it, and just wanted to go home! That same evening we went back home, and wednesday morning at 5 a.m. we were standing at our front door!! The wheater overhere is much better, we think! Otherwise we would leave on thursday evening and come back on friday morning, I'm glad we came back two days earlier.

Our vacation is over, we have to go working coming monday, but although the weather was not to good and we did came home two days earlier, we had a wonderful vacation and Keanu enjoyed himself a lot!!! So watch out for my lo's of Keanu's birthday and our vacation!! Hope I'll find some time next week!!
