What is your favorite time of the day and why?

This is an easy question.  I am a morning person. I love to get up early. Every morning I spend some time sitting on my patio before the sun comes up, listening to the birds wake up. This morning Mr. Robin was the first one up (it's always a race between Mr. Robin and Mr. Cardinal).  He sat on the edge of my new roof and called to his mate to "wake up, it's a new day!"

During my high school and party days, I tried to be a night owl like my friends, but that's just not me.  Both of my parents were morning people.  I always awoke to the smells of coffee brewing and breakfast cooking.

I have always worked 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and have always envied those who ended their workday at 3 p.m.  By the time I get home at 5:30 and fix some dinner, it's almost time for bed. 

Internal clocks are funny, and I think mine is in the minority.  It just ticks to a different beat.    Right now dh works in a different time zone, so he has to get up around 4:00 a.m. and leave the house at 5:00 a.m.  That's fine with me.  I get up at 4:00 and have plenty of time to sit on the patio before work, and listen to the birds wake up.
