Fantastic week behind me...yeah! Two girls home from school with the flu and strep. GOOD TIMES!! At least the flu wasn't full-blown due to having had the flu shot. Every cloud....silver lining...She recovered in time to put me in a panic because I was unable to do any shopping for her birthday during my "week of fun". Still waiting for things in my house to get completed. My builder had some health problems which slowed him down but hopefully he ready to get going on some things. He's getting motivated because the more my roof leaks, the more damage he has to fix. Guess there are always silver linings! I hate that one of those places is in my scrapbook room. Have been excited about getting a large wall rub on but have to put it off until all of the work is completed.

Have been moved in to our new house for three months now and still feel like I'm not settled. Have purchased SOOOO many different window treatments but have not been happy with any of them so far. Don't know why I stressed so much. Turning forty was just another day. My big girls' night was snowed out so that may have put a damper on the fun. My friends are determined to help me celebrate it as soon as the roads clear, calendars clear, and by then I'm sure memories will have cleared and life as we know it will go on. Can't believe that there are only thirty more days until I hit the big 4-0. At the beginning of the year I was actually looking forward to hitting this milestone and had all or these goals for myself.
