Well, I have been busy with my mom's surgery. Well, at least with helping her recover. She had surgery about two weeks ago. I spent two weeks away. It was a very tough and emotional time. I have never been away from my kids that long. But, my mom's surgery went well. She has breast cancer and she was pretty scared. As were the rest of us. She will have chemo. tmt's soon. They will last about four months. But, so far the Dr's think they found all the cancer. She is in recovery right n...

Wow, This has been a busy time of year. It all started getting busy for us in October. Jacob was in the ER three times for epilepsy. Yes, it was a shocking month....my youngest son was diagnosed with infantile epilepsy. So we have been in the ER room 3 times. It was really tough to watch him have seizures. This is Trout lake near Telluride, CO. We planned a summer vacation...and ended up getting snowed in! Wow, what at treat and a nice break from the Texas heat this year. We enjoyed riding the gondola to the top of the mountain..and into Telluride. We were told that this was the first time on 19 years that the snow arrived this early, this heavy and stayed as long as it did.
