Christmas Questionare! ( copy and pasted from Capucine's Blog )

Thought this would be fun. Copy and paste in your blog to share your answers!

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Hot Chocolate -  eeew, don't even ask me about the other...

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?  WRAP!!! no fun, unless they are wrapped!  I love wrapping presents, it is an art!

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? um, don't have a house yet, but I imagine I will choose white.

4. Do you hang mistletoe? no, but maybe some day I will.  Yeah for romance at the holidays!!!  --"all i want for Christmas is YOU>>>"

5. When do you put your decorations up? I put the very few I have up on November 19th this year. I like to jumble Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Years all together! -- I know, my boyfriend thought I was crazy too. Just a few small pine trees with lights, no Christmas tree because we still live in a small apartment.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? um... ALL!! ok, i have to name a few--- i can't just name one.  cabbage casserole, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes with marshmallows.

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child:  probably just the every year traditions stuff. Especially helping my mom in the kitchen making those same favorite things every year. We always decorated gingerbread men, but never ate them.

8.When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? (I think I was in 4th grade - but i remember questioning it for a few years...)  The fact that I knew, was keeping me up one night, so i creeped into my mom's room to tell her I KNEW.  then i cried.

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Usually. - Depends on which family I'm with. :)

10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? Don't have my own yet- but when I was little, we always had a REAL pine tree and my mom let all of us kids decorate it with any ornaments we wanted, (and she didn't change a thing) .  In your mind please picture what that looked like-- ( all heavily concentrated right smack dab in the front at about 3-4 feet high).   I honestly don't know if I will allow this, I'm too much of a 'better homes and garden' control freak.

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it?   um, I'm kind of a baby now that I live in Arizona, so no snow is fine. But i loved it when i was growing up in Montana.

12. Can you ice skate? not very well, but did it when i was younger.

13. Do you remember your favorite gift? I loved getting my first C.D. player when I was about 12.  I thought it was sooo cool! i have a picture of me in front of it all set up -- it was HUGE.  :)

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? chocolate pudding pie with graham cracker crust with whipped cream, Grandma's Sugar cookies with frosting, spritz cookies, pumpkin pie, hot apple pie with ice cream, butter ball cookies, homemade peanut butter cups... o.k. I'll stop now.

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Having soup night on Christmas Eve.

17. What tops your tree?  don't have one yet... remember!!  but, in my family, we always had an angel at the top.

18. Which do you prefer -- Giving or Receiving? Giving is genuinely so much FUN!  :)  i love wrapping presents and making tags and sending out cards. :)

19. What is your favorite Christmas Song? Ava  Maria

20. Candy Canes! Yuck or Yum? um, I'll have one once in a while, and i can't eat the whole thing, I definitely don't ever have a craving for a candy cane--- does anyone?

Get a tree.. Jessica.. It will look wonderful and festive in your apartment..
So I've read yours.. You have to go read mine!! :0)
