Megan had "field day" at school today. Tug of war, obstacle course, that sort of thing. They didn't win any of the competitions, but all of the kids in her class were wearing medals. I asked what they were for - and sixteen 4 year olds shouted "We were best dressed!"
I love it! Their class color was red, and every single kid was decked out from head to toe in red! What a great way to make sure none of the kids feel left out. Continue Reading...

I'm almost finished with 2 of my 3 contest lo's. I'm having such a fabulous time with these pages. Even if I don't win a thing - I'm still happy because my pages are so much better now than they were just a few months ago. I'm trying things I never would have tried - and loving the effects! I scrap because I love to. It's fun, and relieves stress. Raking through all of the pictures of my beautiful kids makes my heart smile.
But hearing someone (ANYONE) say I did a great job makes it that much more special.
I finished a lo yesterday that I've been rearranging and scrutinizing for weeks. I think DH said "that's neat".
I must rememeber that I do this for myself, and recognition is not a requirement.
