We've been going through a rough time lately....  I think it's getting better, but we still have hard days here and there.  I'm really hoping our weekend trip will do a lot to strengthen us and bring us back closer together.  We are going with our Sunday School class and taking Kelly (our 5 year old), but I'm hoping the time with Kelly will help our relationship with her also - just time for the 3 of us to get away from all the day to day responsibilities that we let get in the way of really loving each other.  Why is it so hard sometimes to just love each other?  I am a bit nervous about leaving Emily (our 1 year old), but I know she will be in good hands with my Mom and Dad.  And since lately my hardest relationships in life are with Trent and Kelly, I think it will be good for me to have some time with them without having to focus so much on taking care of Emily.  I wonder if that is why my relationship with them has been so hard lately - because I focus too much on taking care of Emily and neglect them thinking that they are more able to take care of themselves! So...here's looking forward to a great weekend together....to laugh, relax, and remember that we can have a lot of fun together!
