can you really call it "retro" if it almost identical to the styles and colors you grew up with?  I'm having a really hard time jumping on this orange and green bandwagon.  I've finally come around to the pink and brown.  I've adjusted.  But all this "olive" stuff reminds me of the sofa, chair and ottoman my parents had when I was a kid in the 70s!  AND they had chocolate carpet!  My grandmother had shag carpet that all this "olive" stuff reminds me of also!  Scary!  Mom and Dad also had a "olive" refrigerator! 

Well, probably by the time I adjust to the 70s comeback, the styles will have moved on to the 80s.  I saw it in the mall this weekend.  Macy's department store had a manequin dressed in black slim pants that reminded me of the stirrup pants we used to wear in jr. high AND the manequin also had the long sweater that covered her butt with a BIG belt!  Just EXACTLY like what we wore in the 80s!  Oh boy, here we go.... 

I'm obviously not a fashionista - keeping up with the trends is just not me.  I guess I'm just a classic kind of girl!  I'll call my style "timeless"!
