Just 3 layouts this week... all from sketches. Oh, yeahhhhh, lots of creativity there. But there's a bit of a challenge in working from a sketch as well.
1. Thank you for the warm fuzzies - a 1 pg layout that I gave as a gift. Working on this layout I realized I don't own any pink and brown paper! Oy! I suspect that that's a trend that's over and I have 2 years of pictures of DD where she *lived* in pink and brown! This layout will most likely be part of my 'March Madness' submission.
2. Every kid needs (to at least borrow) a dog - while this one looks nice in person it seems sort of boring scanned. I think the effect of the metallic CS is lost and a lot of the inking didn't show up. Ah well. I used this layout as my entry in the 'every kid should' challenge under 'every kid should have a best friend'. It went in my son's album.
3. January 2008 (red/brown) - another 9 box mosaic layout for my son's album. It's next to 'Every kid needs.....'
4. Bring it on! I like this one a lot :-) I loooooooove the picture and this style of scrapping is very comfortable for me. I got to use stickles for the first time LOL. I used a milky way galaxy marker for white... and I'm just not that happy with it. I need a fine tip white marker. Will have to get a signo uniball white.
5. Happy New Year coordinates with Bring it on. Just a quick page to include pictures I wanted in the scrapbook alongside the one in Bring it on.
I've actually done dozens and dozens of layouts between the last post and this one but I probably will never get around to writing them up!
