Catch the Magic of Disney!!!   (6 comments, 2116 views) Tuesday, 10 June 2008

I know there are so many of us out there that have gone, are going, or have future plans of visiting Disneyland, or Disney World. So we here at Technique Tuesday want to help to capture the magic, and maybe even send you off prepared!!

With just a few of our stamp sets, some Technique Tiles, Disney e-cuts, and some black polka dot paper we will create our own autograph book, that will double as a finished mini album!!

First you will print out your e-cuts and mount them onto 3x6 paper of your choice. Corner round all of the edges, and now we are ready to embellish!!!

Here we have used Technique Tiles-Stars and Arrows, and our Twinkle Twinkle stamp set using the Beautiful Basics Inks. Also used to enhance the title… Functuation, and Big Mouth. The greatest thing about using our quality clear stamps is that you can see exactly what and where you are stamping, you can match the colors in your photos or your patterned paper, basically you have the ability to turn any stamp into the color that you need to coordinate with your project.

The Santa Cruz alphabet stamp is a perfect set to compliment you Disney vacation. It has all of the playfulness as the characters themselves.

A great tip for your Disney trip is to let your child choose a few characters that they really want to stand in line to meet, for any other characters snap a shot of them to add into your book, and have your child wave. This will give them the memory, but free up some extra ride time!  Again here we used Technique Tiles-Stars and Arrows and Twinkle Twinkle.

The sentiments and phrases here in this book are all from the Big Mouth stamp set. With the thoughtfully chosen words included in this stamp set, you can create just the right sentiments for Disney and for so many other events through out the year. It makes the best cards!!

Add extra photos in-between the tag pages to remember all of your moments at Disney.

Try this today!! You will save on the cost of buying an autograph book, your children can make this project with you, you can personalize your album to fit YOU, and in the end you will have a finished mini album!! You will use these stamp sets over and over, as they are all so universal. I had SO much fun making this. Share your finished album using any Technique Tuesday product and I will draw a winner from the entries!! Share you creations by June 24th! Post a reply here linking your project from the gallery!!!

I used the e-cuts to make an autograph ring for Disneyland. Several of the characters loved it (especially the Princess' which just made my DD's day). She said it was easy to hold in her hand while she signed and complimented my DD on it.

LOVE yours! Now I need to decorate mine up and add the pictures. Thanks for the ideas!

I don't have any kids, so I've never really considered an autograph book (though I do realize they're not just for kids anymore, LOL). However, this is so cute that I might just have to follow this pattern for something like just a memory book of our trip!
