The scrapbookers participating in our 4-on-4 challenge continue to wow us with their eye-catching layouts. For the November challenge, the four Technique Tuesday products were: Provence alphabet stamps, Two Steppin' in the Garden image stamps, Story Time journaling stamps, and FUNdamental Swanky Frames.
The title on this layout is stunning, and it was easy to create. Using black ink and Provence letters, Eileen stamped the title directly onto her layout background. She colored the wisps and dots in the stamped letters using a red glaze pen. After the glazed areas dried, they had a raised epoxy-like finish. Yes, it really was that easy!

To make the vibrant flower pattern, she rubbed a yellow ink pad over the surface of a FUNdamental Swanky Frame Technique Tile. Then she stamped the solid flower from Two Steppin' In the Garden using red ink. For added impact, she used black ink to stamp the outline flower image. Using Two Steppin' In the Garden stamps, you can make beautiful patterned backgrounds like this in colors that will complement your photos.
Heat embossing gives stamped images a raised surface and a shiny look. Although you will need a heat tool and some additional supplies, you can enhance simple and elborate stamped images using this technique. For this layout, Crys used Provence letter stamps, embossing ink, and pewter-colored embossing powder to make her "Fairytale" title. She also used glitter embossing powder to enhance the flowers from Two Steppin' In the Garden.

The FUNdamental Swanky Frames package includes 12x12 inch page frames, wallet-sized photo frames, and all the common page sizes and photo sizes in-between. Instead of just cropping her photo to fit inside the frame, this scrapbooker simply used her scissors to cut the frame to fit around her photo. You'll find that these frames are the ideal fit for your next project!
As a scrapbooker, you want to make pages that capture your family's history. You might also want to make unique design elements that reflect your own creativity. But like most of us, you feel limited by your budget. With Technique Tiles, some ink pads, and stamps, you can create custom-made page accents at a fraction of the cost of pre-made embellishments. In this layout, Sharyn created a one-of-a-kind embellishment using two FUNdamental Swanky Frame Technique Tiles and the clock image from the Story Time journaling stamp set.

You can easily transform FUNdamental Swanky Frames from basic to beautiful in minutes. For this layout, Jamie used three nesting frames and three techniques to highlight the 5x7 inch photo of her family. On the outside frame, she simply inked the edges to add depth and dimension. She changed the color of the middle frame by rubbing a light yellow-green ink pad across the surface of the frame. Then she handwrote her journaling around the frame. She stamped vines from the Two Steppin' in the Garden set all over the inside frame tile. These are just a few of the techniques you can use to create Technique Tile frames that will complement your photos!
