A couple of weeks ago we went to Disney World in Florida and had an amazing family vacation. When we returned from our vacation, I went through the pictures and I was amazed at how much of my daughters personality I managed capturing in the pictures. These images inspired me to create a mini album highlighting her amazing personality.
The new collections from Adornit were perfect for creating this mini album because they are so fun, colorful and lively just like my daughter! I don't have a lot of free time to create so my goal was to get this done in one evening. This is how I managed to accomplish that! First, I printed out all the pictures the same size (2x3) and then I cut them down as needed to fit for each page. I planned to put the pictures on the right side of the album and my journaling on the left for each page. To create the cover of the album, I Mod Podged some patterned paper on the spine and the front and back cover and then layered some stickers on the top for a fun look and then coated the top with another layer of Mod Podge to help the album stand up to the many times my daughter will look through it To create the inside pages I started by adding a base patterned paper and then a border along the bottom of each page. Then I added the pictures and then the embellishments and the journaling blocks and finished it off by adding a ribbon to help it stay closed!
