I was so happy when I was able to secretly snap this cute picture of my husband hanging out with my daughter in our backyard. He had just picked her up from Kindergarten and decided they needed a little one-on-one time. So he took her in the backyard to eat ice cream bars and chat. He’s such a great dad! I love the colors of the Rae collection and knew it would be perfect for scrapping this photo. The brown is masculine, while the yellow is feminine and soft; perfect for a daddy-daughter memory! I kept the design of this layout fairly simple so that the photo would be the star of the show. The visual triangle of elements around the photo also helps to communicate that the photo is what’s important on this page. A few dabs of yellow Stickles to a few of the flower centers adds just enough detail and interest.
