Last fall we moved into a new home. On the side of our home is a forested area that hasn’t been touched for over 30 years. This spring we have been working hard as a family to get it cleaned up and ready for imaginative play. I snapped a few photos of my husband and kids working hard and knew the Fern papers would be the perfect collection to scrapbook this milestone. I created the tree accents by mounting the circle stickers from the Life’s A Hoot Cardstock stickers onto green patterned paper (Candy Green from the Whoopsy Daisy collection). I then handcut brown cardstock tree trunks. The owl accents are cut from the Owl Hoot A paper. Easy! I also really love how the Hoot Patchwork paper adds a layered look to my background with one easy step. This would be a really fun collection to use for camping photos, too!
