So, I've mentioned that I started the Year To Remember Class over at Big Picture Scrapbooking. It started last Thursday and I'm just now getting the time to really dive into my assignments (I'm doing Library of Memories Class too and haven't started). Anyway in AYTR we are supposed to get a journal and pick out a goal. I am using this cute journal I received as a Christmas gift, the brand is Compendium. It is a really soft green and couldn't be any more perfect for this class. The title of the journal says Her Life. Then the packaging on the journal reads (I had to keep it since it was so awesome)
A remarkable woman. The warmth. The wisdom. A life worth living, recording and remembering. An authentic journey. Her moments. Her memories. Her compassion. Her courage. Her journal. This is her life. Celebrate her.
Isn't that great? I think it would be really fun to do a layout about my grandma or mom using some of those words. Hmmmm... put it on my list to do. Anyway today was the first day of my goal and now I need to write in my journal before I go to bed. I'm really excited about the way I adorned the journal cover to fit me. Of course I had to pick chocolate as my accent color. I used our brand new Floral Chocolate Ribbon and our new Chocolate Foam Alphabet Stickers. Isn't it fun??
