from now until Mother's Day here on my blog. Weekly I will post great ideas using the Mother Collection (scrapbook.com has it all) that will give you great ideas for gifts. Today I want to share this beautiful Cookie Bouquet that my design team member, Jana Eubank created. If you would like the pattern for the flowers please email customercare@adornit.com.
| Step 1 |
Cut a piece of floral foam to fit inside can. |
| Step 2 |
Decorate the can as desired, using various papers from the Mother Collection. I used the Soft Dots on the top half of the can and then cut several squares from all of the Mother Collection papers to go along the bottom of the can, overlapping them slightly. |
| Step 3 |
To finish off the seam between the top and bottom halves, hot glue the Polka Green Ribbon around the middle. |
| Step 4 |
Trim the edge off the Enjoying the Journey Scallop Paper Mat and punch 1/8" holes in the center of each scallop. Use this to crown the top edge of the can. |
| Step 5 |
Create a gift tag for your Cookie Bouquet using the papers from the Mother Collection. Make a white flower to top off your tag from the leftover center of the Scallop Mat. Use the White Foam Alphabet Stickers to spell out "MOM" on the tag. |
| Step 6 |
I enlarged a flower dingbat on my computer to use as a template to create the flower shapes for the cookie flowers. Cut as many as desired from the Mother Collection papers. Use the green papers to handcut several leaves to attach to the cookie flower stems. |

| Step 8 |
Assemble the cookie flowers onto the bamboo skewers following this pattern: Gumdrop (flat side up), paper flower cutout, cookie, gumdrop (flat side down). Make as many cookie flowers as desired. |
| Step 9 |
Arrange the cookie flowers by poking them into the floral foam in your can. Trim the bottoms to varying heights to add interest. Hide the floral foam by hot gluing Spanish Moss around the base of the cookie flower stems. |
| Step 10 |
Attach tag with ribbon. |
