A few weeks ago we had a baby shower for my cute SIL. She is having a little boy and her due date is around the first of December. I wanted to make gift favors for everyone who came. I cut our baby patterned papers into squares and then adhered them to our white cardboard cubes. Inside we filled each cube with blue and yellow salt water taffy. For refreshments I made chocolate cupcakes with blue frosting swirls. For decoration I stuck our Baby Boy Dimensional Stickers to short bamboo skewers. And how could I resist a Baby Boy Chipboard Banner? I painted the scallop edges blue, yellow, and green. Then I Mod Podged the paper to the chipboard. Love how that turned out! The best part about our baby product is how it all coordinates. I LOVE how our baby patterned paper is pre-designed. It made my projects look much more complicated then they really were. If you look at the paper it has words, stitching and distressing so all I had to was cut and glue. **YOu can purchase cubes here in the superstore.
awww!!! This makes me want to have another baby boy. Okay, maybe i don't see any more babie in the near future for me, but I still would LOVE to throw a shower for someone else! TFS your GREAT IDEAS! Have a Blessed Day!
