My son is coming home for a 2-week visit!! It's been 2 long years since our trip to England and our visit with him. So everyone is looking forward to family get-togethers to celebrate. We're even considering having Thanksgiving early so he can enjoy it. Airfare for the holiday is ridiculous so he's coming before. Such a long time since I sat down and actually wrote something!! We are about to take a road trip to Santa Fe New Mexico! I'm excited! OK, so it wasn't really Spring back in March when I thought it was. We've had lots of cold days and plenty of rain since then. So now, it seems Spring may actually be here.....but in Texas, Spring quickly becomes Summer! But I'll enjoy the mild days and flowers while I can. It's a beautiful day outside!! So why am I sitting here at the PC typing?? Just visiting all my neighbors!! My dh is playing golf today. I hope he can relax and enjoy himself. He hasn't played golf since last Spring when he played with his brother. His brother is gone now and he may have some sad moments remembering! I hope he has fun anyway!! There is plenty of sadness except it's Spring and I refuse to be SAD!! My twin brothers are both gone and today would have been their 51st birth...

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY Yes, I realize it was yesterday! But it was also our 22nd wedding anniversary!! It's amazing how quickly the years go by when you are totally happy and in love! We didn't do anything particularly special other than a very nice dinner out. In fact we spent the last 2 days pruning roses, shrubs and a tree and then cleaning up the clippings.
