Springtime Bloom!

It's hard to believe that March is already more than half over. Where does the time go? Are you all getting lots of scrapping done this spring? I know it's hard to stay inside and scrap when the weather is nice. But, if you get a chance to scrap add a little springtime flair to your layouts. KI Design Team Member Dee Gallimore-Perry challenged the team to add handcut flowers to their designs. Here is my answer to her challenge:

It is really simple to add these fun flowers to your layout. 1. Place embellishment in center of patterned paper piece. 2. Cut circle around embellishment. 3. Adhere first circle to another piece of patterned paper. 4. Cut circle around it. 5. Then add little touches like cutting fringe, flower petals, and add paint pen detailing.

shot i am still trying to get this crazy quilt done let alone trying something else lol.. but i like the new layout and one of these days i will start scrapbooking...
