We are all getting into the holiday spirit here as I want it all done by Thanksgiving (shopping that is) So far I am almost there! Jack is freaking on the price a bit as this is the first year I haven't used my personal stash but seeing as he got a good raise this year I don't see the problem - oh well Not that I don't try to be frugal but Christmas is our big holiday.

The Halloween Night Festivities at Greenfield Village was fun but cold. Elyse got overly chilled and by Sunday had a mean flu thing going on. She spent the whole day in bed. I have been trying to organize the house (aka nesting) and therefore it is of course, more disorganized than ever! We were going to get a new, beautiful RV for next season that currently Jack's Aunt and Uncle are using but after a comment was made that we "needed to keep it clean and not break things or we wouldn't be able to use it" I decided to pass. The last month an a half was hectic to say the least. Elyse's behavior has really improved alone with mental function but also she has grown inches and gained pounds so I am fairly confident we are correct in our diagnosis. For her upcoming 7th birthday we took a weekend trip to Chicago to see one of the final performances of the American Girl Revue. While there we also went to the Field Museum and the Shedd Aquarium. While in line at the museum we ran into Elyse's Pediatrician! Isn't that FUNNY...

We recently hired a handyman who has been working on the old house getting it pristine to be relisted. We have agreed to let him live there until it sells in exchange for his services. So in the end we are all winners. We have to pay for the place anyways and he can stay there and keep it maintained and do some improvements! As long as he isn't hard to get out when the time comes LOL.
