Oh how I wish I could draw. 

Sure, I can make stick figures, and even some cute little doodle type animals.  But to really draw, sketch, that would be an amazing talent. 

How I would love to be able to sit on my back porch and watch my children playing happily together while sketching their joyous faces.  Or to sit on the beach and be able to draw all the wonders I see around me.  Sure, I know I can take a picture, and I  would like to think I am not half bad, but there is something about pencil or pen on paper that I just find amazing.

 
You can do it! You just have to practice, practice, practice!

I never thought I could draw either. Then I tried it and practiced and discovered some hidden talent. You can too!

start slow... i used to sit and put graph paper over the comics and trace them... then draw it on blank graph paper .... and then on plain paper... its amazing how much you can pick up from there... and then just doodle away... You will surprise yourself!! great blog!

I'm a believer that everyone has some talent, maybe just a different medium. I didn't know I could draw until I was in the 9th grade . . . had a class called visual literacy. I think anyone can learn to draw (REALLY!) . . . pick up a couple of books from the library and give it a go.
