I read this topic on the "personal history" thread and sat down to write about it.  Then I realized I had no idea how my parents met.  I know how my husband and I met.  I know how my sister and her BF met.  I know how my brother and his wife met.  I know how my father and step mother met.  Heck, my children know how dh and I met.  But I had absolutely no idea how my parents met.  So, I called my mom.

She just spat it out.  My girlfriends and I were bowling and these three boys tried to take our lane.   We argued with them for a while and then decided that we would share the lane and bowl together.  After bowling, we all piled into someones car and....

That's where she left it.  I am not sure what happened after they piled into the car.  Maybe they dated for a while?  I know that they were married in June, I was born in November. (oops)

I think I will have to call my dad and see what else this story holds.  Mom said she didn't think he would remember.  Guess we will see.
