So, as usual it is crazy busy at my house. Swim season is back in full swing, with the children training 3-4 times a week! Ballet classes have begun again and Nutcracker auditions are in less than 2 weeks! Chess lessons, Boy Scouts, Y-Guides! That does not even count what part of my day is taken up with schooling the children. Yet I continue to try to keep up with friends and family, swaps and challenges. Life has been busy. Luckily I was able to get the house in order before we started back.
As some of you may know, 2 weeks before we were going to start school, I went on a massive cleaning binge. Cleaned every drawer, shelf, cabinet in my house. The children's rooms, the kitchen, the garage and even the office/scraproom! I went thru everything and purged. Goodwill received quite a few donations as did friends and family. The children's floor of the hospital got some new toys for their playroom. Some friends even got goodies from my stash of scrapbook supplies!
Did I ever finish? Well, all the desk drawers are clean. The shelves are clean and the paper is put away! But all those embellies? The ribbons and fibers, they got put away. But the rest, I just couldn't do it! They are carefully put in boxes on my new bookshelf, waiting for me to find the time and motivation to organize them and find them a permanent home. I now have to tools! If only I can find the time.

Well, if nothing else, it looks better and less cluttered and I know where everything is. I did manage to sort through the stash and different boxes and drawers hold different types of items. It's a start!
Oh, and it didn't help that just last week I received 3 boxes from pals in different swaps! I am never gonna get it all done! hee hee
